Western Ghats and Karwar Coast

Probably most beautiful part of Karnataka is Western Ghats. Regarded as one of the UNESCO Heritage centre. It covers Kerala, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra also. I have been to Dabbe falls - Kanooru kote trek, Burude falls - Unchalli trek, Kudremukha trek.

 Sathodi falls

We find many falls around Siddapur,Sirsi,Yellapur. I have already seen Jog, Unchalli,Burude falls. Sathodi is one beautiful falls which is also known as mini Niagara falls.There is Magod falls in Yellapur. There are some lesser known falls like Shivaganga falls, Benne hole falls, Waate Halla falls,Duggumane falls, Banagere falls, Vibhuti falls.

Hanumagundi,Somavati, Horanadu

ಕುದುರೆಮುಖ ಚಾರಣ ಮುಗಿದಿತ್ತು. ನೋವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋದು ಎಂಬ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಳುಗಿ ನಾವು ನಿದ್ದೆಯಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದೆವು. ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿದಾಯ ಹೇಳಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಸೋಮಾವತಿ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದೆವು.

Unchalli to Jog

This trip was more special, because it made me to understand the history of my surrounding better. I fine tuned the plan and came up with a plan of 3 days which covered Uncholli falls,Yana, Gokarna, Murudeshwara, Apsarakonda, Sigandoor, Jog falls, Ikkeri.
