I had a plan to visit Shirdi and Shani Sanjnapur with parents long back. But it worked out finally during Ganesh Chathurthi.
Shirdi is around 200 Km away from Pune. Nagaraj had booked the cab for us. We started at 9 AM. Our cab driver told us we need to book online for Shirdi Darshan. It is better we can book darshan online so that we can avoid little delay or money. For around 100 Rs you will get darshan.

Though we didn't booked online, we got the darshan. It was full of spiritual atmosphere. I enjoyed the prasad and chants. You don't need to buy any thing for darshan. A 10 Rs flower is sufficient. Shirdi is about the spiritual environment but not the architecture. It is well connected to surrounding cities.
From Shirdi, we went to Shani Sanjnapur. Please be careful about the shop keepers selling pooja materials. Do not buy any materials outside. In Shani Sanjnapur it is said that they don't have doors in house. They think Lord Shaneshwara will protect their house.
I was cheated badly by the shop keeper here and I paid 3000 Rs for pooja materials. He was asking for 5000 Rs. It was a trap and our cab driver was also involved. So that was the bitter experience I had. For cab he took 3000 Rs for over all trip.
But I was happy to visit Shirdi and Shani Sanjnapur finally
