When we reached Shimla railway station it was 5:20 PM. It was at an altitude of around 2043 feet. Our bus was at 8:20 PM from ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal). In GPS it was showing 7 km from railway station.
We took a taxi and he charged 250 Rs. He took us in short cut and it was very near. Bus stop is at altitude 1900. Since we had around 3 hours we decided to roam around. We placed all our luggage in cloak room. He took 30 Rs for heavy bag and 15 Rs for little lighter one.
We first wanted to fill our stomach first. We saw a small shop where they were preparing mamos. We had mamos and it was the best mamos I ever had. Then we ate noodles. They charged 40Rs for 1 plate mamos and 60 Rs for 1 plate noodles.
Then we moved little distance turned right to go down to see some calm place.
Here we found many home stays for honeymoon couples.
We experienced the hilly station climate and we went till the IARI.
We stood there for few minutes and returned back to main road. We ate aloo paratha in the hotel nearby. It was delicious and tasty.

At 8: 00 we came back to cloak room and got our luggage back and boarded our bus to Kullu. Shimla is much cooler and calmer place and you can enjoy your stay here. A right place for enjoying your honeymoon trip.
